P2Guard Shipping, Insurance & Liability Policy
Effective Date: April 13, 2026
1. Role of P2Guard
P2Guard operates as a digital escrow and logistics coordination platform.
P2Guard:
- Holds buyer funds in escrow
- Coordinates pickup and delivery through third-party logistics providers
- Releases funds upon confirmed delivery
Logistics responsibility
P2Guard does not physically transport goods. All transportation is handled by approved logistics partners.
All delivery services are performed by independent third-party logistics providers. P2Guard is not liable for their actions beyond facilitating coordination.
2. Shipment Eligibility
The following items are prohibited on P2Guard:
- Illegal drugs or narcotics
- Firearms, explosives or hazardous materials
- Radioactive materials
- Human remains
- Live animals
- Perishable goods requiring refrigeration
- Liquids prone to leakage
- Corrosive, flammable or toxic substances
- Jewelry, precious stones, and high-value metals
- Engines containing oil
P2Guard reserves the right to cancel any shipment that violates these rules.
3. Packaging Requirements
The seller is fully responsible for proper packaging. Goods must be:
- Properly sealed
- Protected with cushioning material
- Suitable for standard courier handling
Fragile items (glass, screens, displays, etc.) must be properly protected. Improper packaging may result in rejection of shipment, loss of insurance coverage, and liability borne by the seller.
4. Package Verification
P2Guard and its logistics partners may perform basic package verification at pickup. This may include visual inspection, quantity confirmation, and photographic documentation of the package before shipment.
Verification is limited to observable conditions at the time of pickup and is based on the seller's declared information. P2Guard does not guarantee the exact internal contents of sealed packages.
Any verification records may be used as supporting evidence in the event of a dispute.
5. Declared Value
The declared value of a shipment is equal to the total order amount held in escrow.
Sellers are responsible for declaring the accurate value of goods. Failure to declare the correct value may affect eligibility for compensation.
Declared value must be confirmed before waybill generation.
6. Insurance Policy
Insurance is optional unless otherwise specified.
If selected:
- Insurance premium shall be calculated as a percentage of the declared shipment value
- Insurance applies per waybill
- Compensation shall be based on the insurance terms of the assigned logistics partner and may be subject to their applicable limits and conditions
- P2Guard does not guarantee full compensation and shall not be liable beyond the coverage provided by the logistics partner
If insurance is NOT selected:
- Compensation shall be based on the liability terms of the assigned logistics partner and may be limited
- P2Guard does not guarantee compensation for uninsured shipments
Insurance fees are collected at delivery checkout and settled with logistics partners as applicable.
7. Compensation & Claims
Claims must be filed within:
- 7 days from pickup date if no delivery confirmation exists
- 24 hours from delivery confirmation date if delivery is marked completed
Failure to report within the specified timeframe shall be deemed acceptance of the delivery, and the transaction will be considered final.
Only one claim is allowed per shipment. All compensation decisions are final and based on available evidence. Indirect losses (including loss of profit or business interruption) are not covered.
8. Liquids & Fragile Items
Liquid items: No compensation for leakage. If leakage damages other packages, seller bears liability.
Fragile items: Covered only for total loss. Not covered for partial damage.
9. Delivery Disputes
If buyer disputes quantity or item type: shipment details must match seller's scheduled delivery submission; logistics partner confirms package count at pickup; dispute resolution is based on documented evidence. Return shipping fees caused by seller error are borne by seller. False disputes by buyers may lead to account suspension.
P2Guard reserves the right to rely on verification records, delivery confirmation, and submitted evidence when resolving disputes.
P2Guard reserves the right to deny claims where there is evidence of fraud, misrepresentation, or abuse of the dispute process.
10. Buyer Responsibility
Buyers are responsible for confirming the condition and correctness of items before providing delivery confirmation. Once confirmation is given, the transaction is considered complete.
11. Delivery Fees
Delivery fees are calculated based on destination zone, shipment weight, applicable rate card, and optional insurance. All fees must be paid before shipment dispatch.
12. Limitation of Liability
P2Guard's total liability shall not exceed the declared value of the goods for the relevant shipment, subject to the insurance, compensation, and liability terms set out in this policy.
P2Guard shall not be liable for delays, loss, or failure in delivery caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, government actions, or network failures.
P2Guard is not liable for government seizures, customs delays, or incorrect information provided by seller or buyer.
13. Acceptance of Terms
By scheduling delivery or making payment through P2Guard, users agree to these shipping and liability terms.
